Simon Community Scotland is the largest provider of homelessness services in Scotland. We operate in Edinburgh, Glasgow, North Lanarkshire and Perth. In 2022 we will support around 8,000 people who are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness.

Get digital Scotland
Get Digital is a digital inclusion programme hosted and managed by Simon Community Scotland. We nurture and resource the digital capability of Scotland’s homeless sector through training, support and tools. We want people affected by or working in homelessness to experience an improved quality of life by benefiting from the digital world.

The Get Connected Project
Get Connected is a national digital inclusion project delivered by Simon Community Scotland alongside partner organisations within Scotland’s homelessness sector. We support people to access the digital world and enjoy all of the benefits that come with it. We provide a digital device, connectivity, and support from a frontline worker trained as a digital champion.
People who get online through our Get Connected projects have said that they feel more socially connected, more confident online, independent and inspired to learn.
The Get Connected App pulls together the most useful and relevant digital tools, apps and websites. This makes it easy for people to explore the digital world and learn new digital skills. There are also help sections and tips on how to stay safe online throughout the app.
The app can be used for supported learning alongside a digital champion or for self directed learning. People don’t need to use all of the tools, just the ones they are interested in or will benefit their lives.
